From June 1 1975 to May 2 1987 grew up on Hendrix St between Arlington and Jamaica. Great place to grow up in Kids all over the place, Munoz family gave us 10 the Martinez family 7 the Bellos 4 everyone else came from the rest of East New York unless Queenie (the Munoz German sheppard)chased them away. We played everything on this block; skellie, punchball, football, stickball, volleyball, Puerto Rican tag, chinese handball, handball, box ball and all those times we opened up the hydrant to cool off. Hollywood could not have given us a better childhood. Thanks to all my friends in East New York for my childhood memories. I love you guys. |
