Well, like it said,it was beautiful and that church was full. I was fortunate to read a poem( which I have posted on the school message board)that I had written about the church right near the end of the ma**. I spoke to several former students of St. Malachy's school and told them that some of their words, their memories of the church I used in my poem. I hope that more people can come to the final ma** on the 25th for the Bishop will be delivering that final ma** and then there will be a procession on to St. Michael's church and a reception. It will truly be a sad day for all East New Yorkers who belonged to that Parish! Mario |

We lived in the main part of the house, first floor and basement, with my grandparents. We moved in 1963. I spoke to my parents and my dad says he remember you. He said when you moved across the street they gave you a bedroom set...My grandmother did move to Liberty Avenue, into an apartment owned and on the same property as my aunt Angie, her daughter. She was well taken care of until she pa**ed. If you had a whole lot of time I could tell you some stories about her. She was a real spitfire in her day! Actually the whole Leonetti story is very fascinating, but I'll save if for another time! I'm in Miami right now, so I'll write again when I'm back home...Take care, Lisa |

I know he wanted to move back to NY but I don't know if that ever happened. His wife didn't like it here. I am sure I met your brother, and probably even you the night of the reunion, but there were so many people there that I didn't know, so I don't remember one from the other. The reunion was supposed to be the "diaper" crew, but it took on a life of it's own and the next thing you know, it grew to 120 people.
