Christmas in East New York makes me think of the 3 Sunday's before Christmas when Sid's Store on Fulton and Norwood would be open. (That was back in the days when stores were never open on Sundays). My Father would give my Sister and me $5.00 to buy Christmas Decorations. We thought we were rich LOL!! Boy what beautiful decorations we would buy...Oh to have a time machine to go back for just one more time..... |
