Date: Tue 11/18/08 8:44PM From: John L. Email: jpl516@yahoo.com Message: Great site! Although I never lived in ENY I would spend many weekends visiting my grandparents whom lived on the N. side of Fulton b/t Van Sicklen and Hendrix. I remember as a child being fascinated with the J and K trains stopping right in front of my Grandparents living room window. I remember every Sunday that my grandpa would take me and with his dog Sam in tow to Highland Park and than for an ice cream or candy bar at a sweet shop on the SE corner of Fulton and VS ( Anyone remember the name?) |
