Louie Tominelli's team from Liberty Park. Another older pitcher for the Aces was Joe (Bottles) Intrabartolo. I lived on Ess** St. just off Pitkin Ave. I remember most of the stores and names you mentioned. My uncle worked in John Lors Ice Cream Parlor. I also remember the elevated train that ran on Pitkin Ave. until about 1955. Great neighborhood for a long time and then Ka-Boom it was shot. |
