If you punched the ball onto the railroad tracks it was a home run as long as the ball wasnt caught after it fell down from the tracks. Believe it or not a lot of balls were hit up there and I recall that most of them came down. Some of the guys I played with were Kevin Ryan, Jimmy Hendricson, John and Bobby Bartlett and Ricky Bogart. When we hit a home run we would carve it down next to our name in the street tar. |
