Date: Fri 10/12/07 8:23PM From: Mike Carbone Email: michaelcarbone@sbcglobal.net Message: This past weekend I took my 8 year old son for a suprise visit to New York from Dallas...we had a blast. We visited with relatives, niece Christina(St. Rita's alum) and James Falcone also an ENY'er, ate a ton of great Italian food....it's tough getting the good stuff in Texas! We marched in the Columbus Day Parade and reminisced with 2 of my great friends from the Cleveland St. "gang", Joe Vogelsang and John Steger. If my memory serves me right, we would have 30-40 kids hanging out in the evenings in the summer....playing poker, craps, rough housing and just having a blast. I can't think of more precious memories. We had a cast of characters second to none...with nick names to match, none are too flattering so I won't mention anybody, but we all know who we are ha ha. I would love to hear from all of you. Signed, Mike Carbone AKA Canarsie, Kazoo, Professor, Schnoze to name a few |

I told him about the website yesterday and he was having a blast with it. Where did your family live? I don't remember any of your family in my class but we may have played baseball together for St, Rita's. Post a message to Chris, I'm sure he would love to hear from you. |
