Schwinn, Monarch and Columbia bikes were the big and pricey names b/4 Stelber Bicycle Factory(new in very late 40's or 1950) on Barbey St-Glenmore St, way b/4 Imports hit the scene 
Stelber took our "mickey roasting, Christmas tree burning and "war playing" (below street level) lot frames & fenders were dipped in 50 gallon paint drums, then into heated/baking rooms ..... You gotta be "Olda" to remember that |

So she has 3 grandchildren and you have 2, how wonderful. My boys (I have 2 are not married yet). I'm sure you know I live in Florida now, so I won't be coming up for the reunion however I will attend the reunion next June. I remember well the great times we had and a few good parties in the playroom at your house haha and I have fond memories of your Mom she was so good to us, I remember many times her making breakfast for us before we went to the beach oh well I could go on and on. Danielle just had a baby boy two weeks ago. Danielle has a girl that is one, her name is Caroline Elizabeth, the new baby is William Michael. Her son Billy, has one boy,Johnny. I have 2 grandchildren. A boy Sal who is 9 and a little girl Jenna, 2 1/2. Connie how often do you think of the times we all had back then.I am sure Carol would love to hear from you. She is the same. Give my best to your family. I am going to try to come to the reunion for St. Rita. I have no info on it, although i understand from reading that it is coming up very soon. |
