Date: Wed 06/20/07 5:22PM From: Jim Kelly Email: jkellyjr1@ne.rr.com Message: I was wondering if anyone remembers the Pricipal of Saint Michaels School back in the 60's. She was Sister Ferrer. We used to call her "Ferrer the Terror". She would grab the boys ties and front / back hand you until her arm grew tired or your knees buckled, whichever came first. I still remember telling her "Sister, you should fight for the heavyweight championship!" I took another few shots after my comment. I still give her credit for teaching me how to duck a punch. A majority of her shots landed however. Even still I had a great amount of respect for all the Sisters at Saint Michael's. I had Mr. Longo in the 7th grade and thought the world of him. After the 7th grade it was off to Long Island. Does anyone know if Mr. Longo stays in touch with anyone? Thanks. |
