Message: To Joanne Kirk, We originally lived on Vermont and Jamaica, the other end being Sunnyside ave. I was up there on Friday (Sunnyside) at the entrance to the park.It was sad to see how its gone. The houses are still beautiful, but not all of them are taken care of, so it makes everything look run down. I was overwhelmed with the memories that came back when I was in the park from my earliest days. You know what they say, you cant go back, but you can, only if its to look and to wonder what happened.

Yes, I know 666 has a new front. I've passed it recently. My Son can't believe I ever lived there LOL!! He's a real "Long Island" boy and knows nothing about Brooklyn...
