Yes, Trudy was a really sweet person. It must have been hard for your uncle, I'm sure the kids are all grown by now. Does Gerard have any grandchildren yet?? Still haven't heard from Lenore.... |

My Uncle Gerard and my 5 cousins are all doing well. Obviously, they miss my Aunt Trudy very much as does our extended family. She was a very sweet person and sadly passed away way too young. |

Date: Wed 04/18/07 1:40PM From: Therese Xuereb Email: therese.xuereb@rogers.com Message: Hi, I lived at 120 Schenck Ave off New Lots back in 1955. These row homes are gone now and seem to be replaced by gardens. Living in Canada now, but missing the old neighborhood and best days of my childhood. The houses were right across from the New Lots street Library and park. I remeber when the library and park were built on the lot where a previous building existed and was demolished. The park man's name was Matt. We use to shout at him "Matt fat the water rat 25 bullets in his hat" - drove him nuts! Mr.& Mrs King lived in the house next to the apartment building. I have lots of memories |

We havn't seen anyone in a long time. Howie would see Babe in Canarsie, when he worked there. I see that Gerard is on this site. I'd love to hear from him too. Are you still in N.Y.? We'd love to see you too. |
