It was my cousin Joey and my Uncle did have a heart attack and Joey had to take over for a while, I used to go in and help him. We had a lot of fun, music blasting, dancing, more fun than work. lol He (Joey and his brother Frank) now live in Florida, just went to visit. I used to love to go to Long Island to visit and Uncle Harry would pick me up on the way home and take me with him. My cousin just reminded me how I used to argue with my Uncle because I hated it when he smoked in the car. I always hated smoke! Those were great day, lol |

My father, Anthony Briguglio took over management of the pool and skating rink in 1935 upon the death of my grandfather and continued until his death in 1976. My late brother Jack Briguglio took over the pool managment until 1997. The pool property was sold by the family after his death. We are interested in contact from old friends and patrons of the pool. We are presently attempting to gather old photos which may be of interest. My siblings and I have much information that we would be glad to share. |
