I lived on Glenmore between Pennsylvania and Shefield, right down the street from Wm H Maxwell HS. Went there for a couple of month just before we moved to LI (but the neighborhood had really gone bad by then). Went to PS 76 (gave grandparents address).... and were members of St John's Lutheran Church. Great to see so many pictures of the old place... surprised not to see Mrs. Maxwel's bakery on Atlantic Ave.. .it's still there... different owners as far as I can tell. Thanks for the memories! Can't wait to tell my brothers and sisters' to check out your site! |
