I remember coming home from The High School of Art and Design in the late afternoons. I would ride in the front car of the subway train and look at all the Christmas lights in the windows. |
Date: Sat 12/18/10 12:23PM From: Jane Email: janesdf@juno.com Message: Though I go by Jane, what a shock to find myself in a 1967 cla** photo. I remember the picture now and bringing it, among other cla** photos, home to my parents. What a flood of memories rushing back, and seeing some of the faces, I remember many of the kids from my cla**. My teacher in 2nd and 3rd grade was Miss Kurtz. Anyone know what happened to her? She was a wonderful teacher. Thanks for the memories. |

Date: Sun 12/12/10 10:14AM From: Gerry Carter Email: cart49@comcast.net Message: Anne Maria I do remember both Wolensky and Romeo. Which house did your grandmother live in next to P.S. 65? North side or south side? I remember delivering the New York Times to someone on the top floor in the house on the south side. Can't remember the ladies name. I think she was a widow. On the north side two door from the school I delivered to the Hack family and their grandfather Mr. Bosong. Directly across the street I delivered to Morino and Cecero. |
