Message: What a blast! I stumbled upon this site looking for a zip code for my husband's aunt in Floral Park and decided to look up my old address where I grew up. I saw a posting from my couisin Sal Romeo and pictures of my house (153 Richmond St.) and my grandmothers house (172 Richmond St.) and couldn't believe it. Such a great neighborhood to grow up in and I went to Blessed Sacrament and graduated in 1966.

Message: I lived at 153 Richmond Streeet from about 1955 through 1972, the house in the posting is 153 and not 157. Sal Romeo is my couisin and is quite correct about having his carriage in our driveway many times.

Hello I love this site:
My father's family lived on Shephard Ave In the early 1900. They lived at 323 Shepherd Ave. His father's name was Salvatore Catapano, wife Antonia. They had 5 children Salvatore, Anne, my dad Frank, a baby Madelene who died at 2 yrs old in 1924, and the last son John.

My relatives also lived on Shepherd Ave and Ess** St. were Filomena Catapano, married Luigi Frabicino. Sammy Catapano married Frances, Josephine Catapano married Vincent Boccio. Mary Catapano married Joseph Russo, Anne Catapano married Alexander Carbone.

Does anyone know them or about them or maybe even their children. Their family church was St. Ritas, and I know my dad went there to school. Thanks so much
